Babies!
Well, there seem to be a lot of them, lately.
Husky and his wifey are expecting! Yea!!! He brought in the sonogram last week and while we do not know whether it will be a boy pup or a girl pup, there is definitely a pup in the den! Due date: March 23rd. Right smack dab in the middle of March Madness. Wonder who will run the pool this year?
Also, got an email recently from college friend Mac, who is with child. WooooHooooo! Again, due date during the ACC championships. Well, nothing like the ACC to raise Mac's adrenaline; I don't think she will need any inducing on this labor.
QB's little one is growing fiercely. Due to make an appearance sometime in mid January. The baby room has been releaved of it's 1950's wallpaper and the built in desk has been removed. The room is actually a good size. TSB and I helped out with some of that last weekend. With four people in that space, it was hot as Hades.
I got to see my niece yesterday - in real time. I was in CT when the weekly webcam call was made. Man, that child is gorgeous! Not that I am biased or anything. And she walks, unassisted. Not even 11 months yet! And dances. I had ideas for the first birthday present, but I am thinking they might be revised.
And Halley had her annual visit to the vet in NH. She is well, though growing a couple of lipomas here and there. They are benign and purely a sign of her age. We made an appt for October to have her teeth cleaned and polished. Yea for not-potty-smelling-mouth dog!
And lastly, I got my period this morning.

I know what you mean about the baby thing. They are everywhere. All my friends or their wives are pregnant. I thought I heard my clock ticking, but was quickly told by a good friend of mine that I was hearing someone else's. Whew, that was a close one.
